WHAT A BLESSING!!

Wow!!! I got home from vacation last night. And I just need to say - THANK YOU LORD - WHAT A BLESSING YOU GAVE ME!! YOU ANSWERED PRAYERS WAY BEYOND MY ASKING AND ALL THE GLORY AND THE BEAUTY OF THE PICTURES, THE WEATHER AND THE WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP BELONGS TO YOU!!!

The Shenandoah National Park is absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Skyland Resort in the Park and had a fantastic view from our porch, deer grazing just beyond our porch, and a wonderful variety of weather which made our pictures so diverse. Even though the trees had no leaves yet and the shrubs and flowers had not bloomed, it was still beautiful. Only God could have made something that breathtaking. I prayed for the chance to get a few really good pictures, especially of some deer. And He blessed me with almost every picture unique in some way and over 20-30 pictures of deer, which were everywhere. I asked for relief from the pain in my foot so I could take some hikes and He answered with no pain in my foot for 2 days!! We took hikes and a tour in Luray Caverns and walked and walked. I asked for good weather so we could get some good pictures and He answered with 3 days of 3 different types of weather - which resulted in fantastic, unique pictures!! I asked to see Him in everything we saw and did and He went beyond anything I could have imagined. We saw him in the mountain panoramas; in the blue, blue sky; in the beautiful soft eyes of young does; in the clouds covering the valley; in the breathtaking beauty underground in Luray Caverns; in the friendly people we encountered; and in the fellowship Sandy and I shared. God was with us every moment of every day.

"Thank you Lord for blessing my vacation in the Shenandoah National Park. Thank you for revealing yourself to me in everything we saw and did. You are awesome and I love you Lord."

Hey Deb -
Thanks for note and pictures. They are awesome. It is amazing how close you were able to get to the deer. I especially loved the shots of the valley and mountains.
All is well here in KS. Not much happening. The kids are out of school soon. Which means that we are scrambling to figure out what to do with the kids this summer. We will most likely send them to Military Camp. This will insure that they maintain a good focus on life.
(Just Kidding). Our kids would cry for a month if this every happened.
Work is fine. Bev is awesome. Ready for summer. Ready to open the pool again.
Bev and I are planning some travel time for this next couple of months. Will keep you posted of where we end up going.
Thanks for keeping the family news going.
Love Ya. Mike
