A PEACEFUL SETTING

What a beautiful and peaceful picture. This is what was in the backyard of the house we all stayed in during the birthday celebration. It was so quiet and tranquil. The fountain in the middle was so pretty and what a gorgeous picture it made. I took several pictures of this fountain at different times of the day to get different feelings from it. This one was taken in the early morning. The first night there I spent alone in the house as no one else had arrived yet. It was so quiet sitting on the back porch and listening to the fountain. Then I decided to walk to the edge of the pond and take more pictures. And then - WAIT - is that what I think it is???!!!! No, it couldn't be, could it?? But then again, I am in Florida and YES - that is an alligator!!! In the pond!!!! Could this be the beginning of all the fun and exciting things that will be happening this week??? I think so. It was a couple more days before Mr. Gator was spotted again and he was way on the other side of the pond, but he definitely was there. Yep, this is going to be quite the vacation!
