Let the FUN begin!! We were all very excited about our fun-filled day at Epcot and Disney World. There were 7 of us going to spend the day at the parks. Marilyn was very tired from the previous day and stayed home. We arrived at Epcot at 9:15 am and were welcomed with the familiar silver ball. But we also had several other "greeters" - Pluto, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. It was the parks' "flower festival" and there were flower creations and beautiful flowers EVERYWHERE. I could have spent all day just taking pictures of flowers. But we wanted to get to the first ride (the most popular one) - so we headed in that direction. We were heading to "Soarin'". This ride was great - you sat in an airline-type seat and went up and it was like you were in an airplane, flying through the air with wings and nothing around you. It was exhilirating! We all enjoyed it thoroughly - even the part where you thought the golf ball was going to hit you!! After that, we saw "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" - which was fun. The beginning of our day started out great and it was a terrific all day long.
Next up - more flowers!!

I so love the look on Marilyn's face! What an amazing gift you all gave her! I know her heart must have been overflowing with all the love that was lavished on her.
that was a really fun day. I can't believe we lasted until the park closed at 9:00 pm. We are all kids at heart!
