That's what I imagined this graceful bird was thinking as I stood up the hill from him snapping picture after picture of him. With each step I took closer to him, the more he would stretch his neck up to see me. I think I pushed him to the limit of his neck!!! But what a beautiful picture he made. And this was all BEFORE everyone had arrived and the fun began. God was already blessing the whole event with beautiful surroundings and pictures just waiting for me to capture. This was the morning before everyone arrived. Aunt Dixie arrived first around noon. Vince and I went to the airport to get everyone. After Aunt Dixie, we met Larry and Betty. Then they stayed to pick up Ann and Pat and Carole and pick up our rental van. Aunt Dixie and I went back to the house and spent a very relaxing afternoon visiting on the back porch. A wonderful start to a terrific week. Next up - surprising Marilyn!!!
