And that is what Marilyn was - SURPRISED!!! At first, she only thought Carole had come. Then she saw Pat, then Ann, and then me. She thought the sisters had come for her birthday. Then in the door walked Larry and Betty, and Aunt Dixie!! She could not believe it!! She was so happy and so were all of us. (As you can see by all the smiles on everyone's faces!!) She had already been surprised by Michele arriving the day before. But she said she had no idea that anyone else was coming. All our planning and scheming had paid off. (Of course at this time she had no idea that there were more surprises to come!!)
After a scrumptious dinner prepared by Vince and Michele, we all settled in the "Florida room" and visited and caught up on news. Our first day was almost over and I was thanking the Lord for everyone arriving safely, for the love that each of us had for each other, and for blessing Marilyn's birthday in more ways than I imagined. God is Great!!!
